Common questions
Which file formats does Airclip Cloud deliver?
3D models as OBJ, DAE or glTF, CAD building models as DWG or DXF, point clouds as LAS, LAZ or E57 and orthophotos as GeoTIFF. For each project you choose the formats your software needs.
Can I open the model in AutoCAD, Revit or ArchiCAD?
Yes, through the CAD building model as DWG or DXF. You import it like any other drawing and carry on drawing in it.
Which format do I need for PV*SOL?
The orthophoto as a GeoTIFF. It is true to scale and georeferenced, so you can lay out the roof surfaces in PV*SOL directly on top of it.
What do I open the point cloud with?
With any software that reads LAS, LAZ or E57, for example CloudCompare or Faro and Leica programs. LAZ is the compressed version of LAS and saves time on download.
